Adblock can help block all those intrusive adverts that are increasingly taking over the Internet. Once installed, it's a snap to filter elements at their source-address. Just right-click: Adblock: done. Filters use either the wildcard character (*) or full Regular Expression syntax. Hit the status-element and see what has or hasn't been blocked.

Installation:
Start Firefox, click the 'Open Folder' button opposite, drag the file 'adblock-0.5.2.039-fx.xpi' into the main Firefox browser window and an installation prompt window should then appear, simply follow the onscreen instructions from here.
